Younger Role Models
My little sister Arlene is 14 years old and has also taken a liking to drawing. She inspires me all the time! She's really talented and unique and I want her to never give up on her dreams the way I did for too many years :] Here are a few of her sketches she's posted on her Instagram

The late Mexican-American Tejano singer/entertainer Selena Quintanilla designed her own stage outfits and eventually branched out into fashion where she owned a boutique (Selena Etc.) using her designs.

This saturday my hometown of San Antonio is going to host it's first ever Frida Kahlo festival celebrating the revolutionary artist's life and I'll be attending!
